Private Lives by Noël Coward
Private Lives by Noël Coward is considered one of the most sophisticated, entertaining plays ever written. Elyot and Amanda, divorced, and now honeymooning with new spouses at the same hotel, meet by chance, reignite the old spark and impulsively elope. Soon the fierce love that first brought them together has rekindled. They abscond together, leaving their new spouses behind and initiating a dangerous dance of desire and violence. This 1930s comedy is about two people, very much in love, but unable to stand each other.
