The Seven Deadly Sins Composed during the time of tremendous political upheaval in Europe, this ballet-chanté was the last work by the genius of Kurt Weill before immigrating to the United States. The story follows Anna I (a singer) and Anna II (a dancer) – two split sides of one woman determined to earn a better life for herself, travelling through 7 cities across the country, returning to Louisiana to finally buy a home for her and her family.
