Inspired by “The Princess and the Pea” by Hans Christian Andersen, this is the “true” story of the hypersensitive princess in search of her own “Happily Ever After.” When Winifred the Woebegone stumbles into a competition for the hand of Prince Dauntless (run by his suffocating mother, Queen Aggravain), all fairy tale heck breaks loose. The Queen and the Wizard plot to undo her as the Prince and most everyone else tries to make her the big winner in the Marital Sweepstakes. A lively, feel-good evening full of toe-tapping tunes, silly shenanigans, and a Happy Ending, of course!
