The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals

Everything seems normal in the small town of Hatchetfield—until people suddenly begin bursting into song and dance against their will. This wildly inventive horror-comedy blends sci-fi chaos, absurd humor, and musical theatre satire into a fast-paced cult favorite that lovingly pokes fun at the genre while embracing it completely. Beloved for its brilliant meta-humor, The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals blends B-movie cosmic horror with sharp satirical takes on musical theatre tropes. Audiences love the relatable main character who hates musicals, the catchiness of the songs, and the unique, high-energy performances. Rated: M - Directed by Ashley Thornton Murdock
