Waiting in the Wings

Noël Coward’s tribute to theatre, “Waiting in the Wings” takes place in "The Wings" retirement home for actresses. Jealousy runs rampant between two former leading ladies, May Davenport and Lotta Bainbridge about a shared former love as the play dives deeper into the lives of the residents as they cope with aging, financial struggles, and the frequent visits of an unsympathetic charity committee. Coward balances humor and heartwarming moments in this story about the enduring bonds formed through theater.
