A Christmas Carol

A 20-Year Tradition, Timelessly Reimagined. Experience the magic of the holidays with our 20th annual production of A Christmas Carol . Adapted by Dr. Andrew Harris especially for MRT, this heartwarming, one-hour adaptation captures all the wonder, warmth, and redemption of Charles Dickens’ original masterpiece. Perfect for audiences of all ages, it’s the ultimate holiday outing to kick off your festive season! As the Courtroom Theater undergoes renovations , we’re excited to bring A Christmas Carol to a new venue this year at Covenant Church . We are incredibly grateful to Covenant for opening its doors and welcoming MRT and this beloved McKinney tradition into their space while our home is being transformed. The story may have a new setting this year, but the tradition continues—with the same heart, community spirit, and holiday cheer audiences have come to love. MRT is proud to offer an ASL interpreter at our performance of A Christmas Carol on December 19th at 4:30 pm. Please pick a designated ASL seat when purchasing for this performance.
