Dragonsocks & Queen of the Universe Written by local playwright Brendon Smith Directed by Suzan Kurry (Artistic Director of KR Women’s Theater) Josephine is spiteful, bitter, sharp-tongued, and absolutely certain everyone in the nearby town hates her—especially after she decked someone she thought was her sister. With nowhere else to turn, her adult child, Reg, brings Indy, a prototype robotic caregiver with infinite patience. What follows is a comedy fueled by stubbornness, sarcasm, and unexpected heart, asking whether it’s ever possible to rewrite our programming—human or otherwise. Performances will be October 30 – November 14. Show times are 7:30 PM Thursday – Saturday, and 2 PM on Sunday and November 14.
