Arsenic & Old Lace

Drama critic Mortimer Brewster’s engagement celebration takes a disastrous turn when he discovers that his kindly, elderly aunts have been poisoning lonely old men as acts of mercy. As Mortimer races to prevent further “charitable” murders, he is besieged by a brother who believes he is Theodore Roosevelt, another brother who is a dangerous criminal, a suspicious police force, and a house full of hidden secrets. Each attempt to restore order only plunges him deeper into chaos, resulting in nonstop hilarity and escalating absurdity.
