You are traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. Your next stop, the Twilight Zone! With stage renditions of three popular episodes, campy take-offs on vintage commercials, and a special tribute to a beloved 1960s comedy sketch show, this is the 14th time that Theater Company of Lafayette (TCL) has reprised this hugely popular format. Ian Gerber could be Rod Serling’s doppelganger, and will be reprising his role for the twelfth season. This year's episodes are sure to entertain and present important issues that our society is facing right now, like greed, community loyalty, lack of inclusion, and more. Episode 1 is Nothing In The Dark, directed by Munam Goodwin. An aging recluse living in an abandoned building must confront her fears of the outside world and her own mortality when an injured police officer needs her help. Will she be able to help him? And what will happen to her? Episode 2 is The Ring-A-Ding Girl , directed by Renee Malis. A glamorous movie star’s hometown fan club sends her a mysterious ring—but it brings chilling, inescapable premonitions of an impending disaster. Drawn back to her roots by supernatural forces, Bunny Blake must race against time to alter a tragic fate before the clock runs out. Episode 3 is The Shelter, directed by Madge Montgomery & Ed Castaldo. A lively birthday party is interrupted by a civil defence announcement, and a close knit neighborhood erupts in panic. As families scramble to prepare for an impending attack, they quickly turn against the family who has retreated into the only bomb shelter on their street. Will desperation and bigotry prove more damaging than weapons? Find out inside The Twilight Zone!
