Into the Woods

Your favorite fairy tale characters have never been quite like this. James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim's Tony Award-winning musical weaves together the stories of Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, and a Baker and his wife, each chasing a wish they believe will make everything right. The first act feels like the fairy tale you remember; the second reminds you why wishes should be made carefully. Enchanting, sophisticated, and delightfully dark, Into the Woods is a rare modern classic that asks what happens after happily ever after and delivers an answer that is equal parts magical and deeply, beautifully human.
