Godspell (a Musical)

Godspell is a two‑act musical by Stephen Schwartz (music and lyrics) with a book by John‑Michael Tebelak, structured as a series of parables drawn mainly from the Gospel of Matthew, interspersed with songs often set to traditional hymn melodies. It blends comedy, music, and theatrical storytelling to convey Jesus’ teachings.
