Red

(Preview 11/12) When legendary New York artist, MARK ROTHKO, hires young painter, KEN, to assist in completing his commission for the Four Seasons Restaurant on Park Avenue, a story of passion, mentorship, legacy, and a battle of intellect and artistic expression is set into motion. In this intimate and immersive experience, RED invites audiences to not just observe the story, but step inside Rothko’s 1957 Bowery Street studio, as you become an accidental witness to the struggle – both physically and emotionally – it takes to create some of the world’s most sought-after art. Directed by Laurel Marlantes. Featuring the talents of Mel Carson (Rothko) and Reed Viydo (Ken).
