Destroying David

American Theater Group proudly presents a unique theatrical experience written and performed by Jason Odell Williams and directed by Charlotte Cohn. ATTENZIONE! Michelangelo’s David is in danger of collapsing! And it may not survive the night. Is it the 500-year-old crack in the statue’s ankle that will bring it down? The frequent earthquakes around Florence? Or the charming but troubled tour guide with a gift for gab and nothing to lose? Destroying David is a funny, heartbreaking, and ultimately uplifting solo show about the beauty, resilience, and power of art to help us through our darkest hours.
